Ann Cusack is an accomplished American actress whose career spans film, television, theater and music. Raised in Evanston, Illinois, she developed her talents at Chicago’s renowned Piven Theatre Workshop alongside her siblings. She is a member of the celebrated Cusack acting family and the sister of actors John Cusack and Joan Cusack.

Cusack made her feature-film debut as Shirley Baker in the beloved 1992 baseball classic A League of Their Own. Her memorable character, a right fielder for the Rockford Peaches who struggles to read, becomes part of the trailblazing women’s professional baseball league formed during World War II. The film remains a fan favorite and one of the most celebrated sports movies of its generation.
